Availability: immediate for remote work; open to on-site or hybrid roles, including relocation, from March 2027.
Profile
Final-year Computer Science student at IFSULDEMINAS, with hands-on experience since 2023 on real projects — from requirements with end users through to post-deployment support. Focused on backend: domain modelling, business rules on the server, REST APIs and relational databases. API contract before the code; results verified by tests in CI, including when unfavourable.
Technical skills
Backend and data: Python, Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI, Node.js, Flask · PostgreSQL, PostGIS, SQLite, MySQL · pandas, scikit-learn, LightGBM
Systems and tooling: Rust, Docker, GitHub Actions, Linux, Git · JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, HTML/CSS, Tailwind · Godot/GDScript, PHP, WordPress, C++ (competitive programming: OLIP, regional)
Experience
- Full overhaul of the campus Computer Networks Laboratory: planning and technical restructuring of the environment, plus teaching and mentoring students throughout the project.
- Solicita module of the institutional app (React Native, SQLite): any student or staff member files a request — maintenance, parts, repairs — routed automatically to the right department. In use across the whole campus.
- Team of 6 developers running Scrum with a dedicated Scrum Master, on a shared-component architecture. Author of the React + SQLite component the project was first built on; synchronising the local database with the Django backend — the hardest part of the system — was built by three of us; every release from the other modules meant reading someone else's code, adapting mine and revalidating behaviour. Delivery per sprint, with a weekly development report.
- Requirements gathered directly with the client department, including on-site visits. Rollout, training for users with little smartphone experience, testing and documentation.
- Websites and landing pages for clients in HTML, CSS, PHP and WordPress, from requirements to publication and post-delivery support.
- Planning and tracking of team work in an agile setting (Scrum/Kanban); development in GML and JavaScript. Published: gx.games/pt-br/games/uielpr/robotics-adventures-demo
Projects
- Pager with buffer pool, B+Tree, WAL with ARIES recovery, SQL parser and MVCC — one library dependency. 237 tests: a crash fuzzer modelling power loss, an isolation-anomaly battery and SQLite's sqllogictest corpus. WebAssembly demo. Rust
- Walk-forward with embargo, transaction cost and an executable leakage audit over 40,169 out-of-sample predictions on B3 and 47,805 in the US. Published as measured: 50.60% accuracy on B3 (p = 0.0079), no signal in the US, no strategy beat buy and hold. The deliverable is the measurement infrastructure. Python · scikit-learn
- FastAPI service on PostGIS, Argon2id with refresh-token rotation, a built-in herd simulator and Docker deployment. 129 tests running in CI against a real PostGIS, not a stub. FastAPI · PostGIS · TypeScript · Docker
- Measures the strategic quality of AI agents by effectiveness and cost — not just who wins, but how much computation it takes. 7,000 matches over a frozen bank of 1,000 seeds, with significance testing and validated environment neutrality. Browser demo. Godot/GDScript · Python
Also: GEICIS Ponto — internship time tracking in Django + DRF + React, API contract settled before any code, 72 tests in CI, awaiting campus IT deployment · GA36-MB — reverse engineering of a handheld console with a remarked SoC.

@bjorn3/browser_wasi_shim (425★) — submitted a fix for an argv buffer overrun: the size was measured in UTF-16 code units while the write used UTF-8 bytes, corrupting guest memory from the first non-ASCII character on. Found while running Lastro in the browser.
